Who's really writing the cheques
Berry has moved into health and wellness investing, taking an equity stake in probiotics company Pendulum Therapeutics (where she also became Chief Communications Officer) and backing women's-health startups. In 2024 she launched her own midlife-women's wellness brand, Respin.

Berry's investing is a recent, focused second act built around health problems she has lived through. Undiagnosed for a decade in perimenopause and managing type 2 diabetes, she backs and often joins companies serving underserved health markets, women's midlife health above all. She founded Respin, invested in and became an executive at microbiome company Pendulum, backed intimate-health brand Joylux and was the largest individual investor in canned-wine startup Bev. The track record is thin and mostly post-2022, and she has been candid that convincing largely male VCs that menopause was a real market was hard.
it was really hard to get people, largely men, at some of these venture capital companies to believe that menopause was a real thing.
It's my second act in life. And I want to back startups that focus on common health issues that are not being well addressed. Menopausal health is one area that's been overlooked by the medical community.
This is my greatest act.
As an entrepreneur, it's important for me to invest in companies that share my values and are utilizing their platforms to drive real change.
